With the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central companies are able transition into a modern business driven ERP which offers:
The above video will demonstrate a brief overview of the solution with a collection of features designed for a particular role.
Business Central can be accessed with any web browser or with a native mobile application found in common app stores.
Business Central supports international business, several companies and fulfills the legal requirements of different countries. The solution has multiple language versions available.
Today all research and development happens within the cloud. Software as a service (SaaS) supports businesses through times of change by keeping them up-to-date automatically. With SaaS you also get speed to market, innovative functionality and a competitive edge – all you need to face and overcome any new demand.
Going SaaS does not mean you cannot customize your ERP, but it requires a new way of implementing these adjustments. Solteq can create Extensions around your Business Central solution, keeping the core solution untouched and updatable. We also offer a wide range of readymade components and add-ons without the need to add a single line of code.
The SaaS also enables you to take advantage of the Microsoft’s Power Platform ecosystem, which onboards you into loads of readymade integrations, apps, data insights and other value adding solutions.
Business Central is fully integrated with Office 365. For Office 365 users Business Central is a natural choice and gives the feeling of familiarity. It also works well with the other everyday Office tools like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PowerBI.
Business Central is delivered as a cloud service from Microsoft's Azure, which speeds up deployment and reduces the customer's need for infrastructure and the associated costs and risks.
With the video, you will get a demonstration of the integration of Dynamics 365 Business Central in Outlook. With Dynamics 365 Business Central in Outlook, you can leverage rich insights to help improve your customer experiences.
The strength of Business Central is its role-tailored experience that helps users focus on the work that is important to them. The user interface, called Role Centers, are based on a user-centric design model. You can design a Role Center to give users quick access to the information that is most important to them in their daily work - displaying information that is pertinent to their role in the company and enabling them to easily navigate to relevant pages for viewing data and performing tasks.
Business Central also includes a set of readymade roles for users to adapt to their individual needs. The roles include accountant, business Manager, dispatcher, sales order processor, production planner, sales and relationship manager, administration etc.
In the tabs you can see some of the key features for certain roles.
The Financial Management module includes general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable, electronic invoicing, fixed assets accounting, and cash flow forecasts.
Solteq can complement the ERP with purchase invoice recycling and approval features, which are embedded directly into Business Central.
The financial management module features real-time accounting and tools for automating and reducing manual work, such as reconciliations, financial statements, and month closures.
Financial reports can be generated directly from the ERP or through Microsoft Power BI analytics. This significantly reduces the need for Excel and manual reporting.
Build better relationships with suppliers and convert the best offers to orders.
The Sales and Purchasing module enables a streamlined sales order / quote / contract process that minimizes manual errors and provides unambiguous information on customers, vendors, sales history, and upcoming tasks.
The Production module is able to calculate and optimize manufacturing capacity and the resources needed to improve production schedules and meet customer demand. It is also possible to maintain the correct inventory quantity by automatically calculating inventory levels, lead times, and reorder points.
The Inventory management module enables businesses to optimally replenish their inventory and helps to create purchase orders with sales forecasts and expected inventory depletion. The solution gives a comprehensive view to warehousing by tracking product events and shipments based on storage locations, floor plans and dimensions of the warehouse.
Even though the Essentials version only covers the “essentials”, it still includes the most common business processes and features for any company, such as finance, purchasing, sales, projects, supply chain and warehouse.
The Premium version covers all the functionality in the Essentials version while additionally adding processes and features to production and service management.
