The long-term partnership as a supplier of retail IT solutions for the Lantmännen Agro chain has created experience-based trust. Project progress – flexible cooperation
In the project launch phase, a common vision was defined, a preliminary solution description was prepared, and the different phases of implementation were scheduled. As the project progressed, functionalities were refined and new needs emerged, leading to schedule updates. Changes were implemented flexibly and in good cooperation between all parties, which enabled the solution to be adapted to real needs.
Lantmännen Agro's retailer model is based on independent entrepreneurs who operate as part of a common chain. Retailers are responsible for their own business but share a common product range. The same product can be sold in several stores across the country.
Solteq has implemented similar solutions, but this particular operating model had not been used before, and no ready-made solution was available. The project required new thinking and technical implementation. With Solteq's expertise, a demanding entity was developed where diverse product data was combined from different sources. The solution supports both the unity of the chain and the flexibility of individual retailers.
