Solteq acquires S2B Energia Oy, a system and service provider in the energy industry

Solteq has signed an agreement today for the acquisition of the entire share capital of an energy sector system and service provider, S2B Energia Oy, from Leppäkoski Group Oy and Vatajankoski Oy. Utilities is at the core of Solteq’s strategy, and the acquisition strengthens Solteq’s offering within the industry. The value of the acquisition is not disclosed.

S2B Energia has a strong background in customer service and invoicing systems in the electricity, water, and district heating business. The company has developed a Salesforce-based customer information system to meet the needs of energy industry clientele. In addition, the company provides customer service for the industry incumbents. S2B employs 10 people.

“The acquisition is part of strategy for Solteq Utilities. The expertise and solutions of S2B Energia are a great fit for us and offeringin Utilities solutions. Salesforce is the leading SaaS platform in the world, and Salesforce-based solutions will certainly be of interest to our customer base,” says Aarne Aktan,” CEO of Solteq Plc.
