    Highlights from PIMpoint Digital 2021

    Last week was special because it was again time for the world’s largest PIM event, inriver's PIMpoint Digital. The event offered a lot of interesting customer cases, inspirational sessions, and future announcements. Moreover, it was inspiring to see how the whole event was organized. Virtual events are never easy to execute but this year’s event was exceptional and blew my mind. I have never attended a virtual event where networking has been made so easy and flexible. Two-way communications were constantly present, and it was easy to start a dialogue with other “PIMpointers”. A truly positive experience! Here are some of my highlights from PIMpoint Digital 2021:

    Inriver and SAP announce strategic partnership

    Thomas Zanzinger, CEO of inriver, opened the event with a bang in his Keynote speech, by announcing a strategic partnership with SAP. This partnership will help customers with more seamless data integration and will also improve the customer experience. ERP systems are often the main source of information feeding PIM, so this partnership will demonstrate that inriver is a logical choice to enhance product data for enterprise-level customers.

    Take control of your digital shelf

    It has become increasingly important to have control of your data. This is why inriver has introduced the Evaluate app, an AI-powered tool that has an eye on your product information across different touchpoints. Evaluate offers you data-driven insights on how your product information is inspiring your customers and how you can improve the product content. It is truly a powerful tool when you want to maximize sales and understand how your products are performing on your digital shelf. This is a tool everyone should get familiar with!

    Inriver awards Solteq as Partner of the Year

    The event culminated (at least for us solteqians) when we were awarded the Partner of the Year Award for Finland and the Baltics. The award was handed for continued excellence as a platinum partner to inriver and gained due to Solteq’s performance in product information management projects and for contributing to an increased market share in Finland and the Baltics.

    All in all, the virtual event was excellently executed and filled with interesting presentations and virtual encounters. However, we hope to meet the inriver community in person again in the near future!
