    Solteq helped SLO streamline its financial management routines

    SLO, Finland's leading wholesaler of electrical and telecom products, modernized its financial management system in cooperation with Solteq. SLO’s aim was to automate financial management routines to allow employees to concentrate on more demanding analytical tasks.

    SLO’s previous system was replaced by Microsoft Dynamics NAV system, which will enhance SLO’s financial management processes, follow-up and reporting, as well as the internal transparency of the Company’s business operations.

    “We wanted to automate financial management routines, and we chose Solteq as a reliable partner that understands our business operations and has a clear vision of how financial management system can be integrated with the rest of our systems”, SLO’s Chief Financial Officer Sinikka Tynjälä says.

    The new system was integrated with SLO’s existing systems such as ERP, invoicing and payroll management. NAV will enable us to review data in the other systems at an event level.

    Now the data entered into the Company’s ERP System will automatically be available for financial management. The new system also includes flexible search functions, easy-to-use reporting tools and high-quality tools for management accounting.

The long cooperation between our companies also helped us in the demanding task of integrating the new system with SLO’s existing system”, says Solteq’s Profit Centre Head Antti Turkkinen.

    As SLO’s partner, Solteq is responsible for the delivery and deployment training, as well as updating and maintenance of the Dynamics NAV System.
