    Solteq Expands Customer’s Global Online Store Support to a 24/5 Service

    Solteq has signed a significant agreement on a 24/5 support service for a customer’s global online store solution. The customer in case is a global leader within the manufacturing industry. 

    The new online store support service utilizes the new service center in Poland that enables the round-the-clock on five-days-a-week service for online stores operating in different time zones. The customer’s online stores operate on four continents and are all included within the service agreement. 

    “In future, we will be able to provide even more comprehensive services to support our customers global online business. This agreement enhances our position as a supplier of global online store solutions,” says Boss Juha Luomala of Solteq’s Digital Experience Consultancy Unit.

    The customer’s eCommerce Solution is a centralised platform solution. The online stores are based on shared basic features and functions. Additional functions and site-specific visuals are available for the online stores. The core of the solution is IBM Watson Commerce online store platform. 

    In the future, the customer intends to expand the use of the online store platform and launch up to 100 online stores globally. 

    The contract was signed in autumn 2018 following a transition phase, which was completed by the end of 2018. The new support service in line with the agreement was be launched in January 2019.
