    This keynote speech discusses recent trends in consumer behavior, which are reflected also in the behavior of business purchasing decisions. Based on longitudinal data obtained from Finnish consumers, the presentation sheds light on consumer values, the influence of recent macroeconomic trends on consumer attitudes and behavior, buying trends, and the role of digital and social media in buying.

    Keynote Speaker: Professor Heikki Karjaluoto, University of Jyväskylä

    Heikki Karjaluoto is a Professor at the Faculty of Information Technology and the Head of Technology Management program at University of Jyväskylä. Karjaluoto has been the leader and co-leader of around 20 research projects and published extensively in business and information system journals and is the author of several books. He has won numerous research and teaching awards including several Best Teacher Awards and Best paper awards.
