Artturi - maintenance and material management system Artturi is Modern and Easy to Use Artturi is an innovative solution designed for use as an ERM system for maintenance and material management organisations. Its state-of-the-art Windows or browser-based user interface makes it easy to use for employees in any position and every level of the organisation. The use of Artturi is further facilitated by access to Windows Help instructions of use. Artturi supports routine maintenance Artturi covers all sectors of everyday maintenance and the related material management in the form they are routinely performed. Artturi can be customised and is built on standards As and when necessary, the users can easily customise the software’s data content and, for example, create equipment file cards with technical data in Artturi’s Maintenance Index. The software is complete with equipment card templates and data elements provided by PSK Standards Association, which facilitate the drafting of equipment indexes. PSK standards No. 7501 (Indicators for Maintenance in Process Industry) and No. 6201 (Concepts and Definitions) are used for classifying and reporting work and producing supporting reports. The requirements of the ISO-9000 standards for maintenance have been observed in the realisation of the software. Artturi’s various applications can also be used with an Internet browser. As and when necessary, we will design customer-specific forms to be used by the personnel, which makes learning the use of the system really simple. Artturi and other data systems in the enterprise Artturi has a great variety of interfaces for incoming and outgoing data preinstalled. A typical interface can be built, for example, between SAP/R3 and Artturi, transferring material data and transactions both ways. Other realised interfaces include, among others, Artturi and different accounting systems or a warehouse robot. A suitable solution with excellent usability for planning maintenance load and especially for monitoring and fine tuning of timing is the interface between Artturi and PlaNet project management software. Artturi’s tools and operating environment Artturi’s user interface can be set to Windows displays or templates running on an Internet browser. Artturi’s database is modelled using Oracle’s Case products, securing high-quality documentation and easy maintenance of the programme. Artturi is implemented with MicroSoft’s Visual Basic. Over the ODBC interface, either Oracle or Microsoft’s SQL server can be used as database. The software can be installed either on one Microsoft PC or in different LAN environments (Windows for Workgroups, Novell Netware, LAN Manager, TCP/IP). The workstation running Artturi may have Windows NT, XP or 2000 and the server e.g. Windows NT, Windows 2000 or different types of Unix operating systems.
