ArtEdit -data transfer and modification programmes for the standard computer user


Excel-based tools developed for transferring and modifying data and creating new records and compatible with Arttu and Artturi maintenance and material management systems.

Data can be retrieved directly from an Arttu or Artturi database to ArtEdit programmes. It can be modified and transferred back to an Arttu or Artturi database. The programme enables simultaneous modification of sizable amounts of data. Database searches can be restricted with one or more search features.

The ArtEdit programme includes drop menus with items selected from an Arttu or Artturi database. The menus can be updated whenever necessary. Menus are desinged to facilitate the use of the data transfer and modification programme and to ensure seamless data transfer. Common characteristics of ArtEdit programmes include:

  • Option to perform bulk changes in an Arttu or Artturi database.
  • All Excel modification tools are available.
  • Ease of use: anyone can and knows how to make data transfer.
  • Simple function keys for data import and export.
  • Most of the fields of database tables are visible in the ArtEdit programme.
  • Maximum fiels lengths marked in the columns.
  • Mandatory fields marked in the columns.
  • Existing informative fields can be used for searching,viewing, comparing, sorting and filtering of data.
  • Searched data is not locked down in the Arttu or Artturi database.
  • All records searched through the ArtEdit programme need not be returned to the Arttu or Artturi database; the data can be used for other purposes.

Arttu now includes six different ArtEdit data transfer and modification solutions:

Location and device data
including technical data, part lists, titles in other languages and gauge data.

Preventive maintenance and repair work data
including material interfaces, work instructions, work instruction interfaces and expenses.

Inventory item data
including titles in other languages, partial interfaces, purchasing interfaces and legends.
 
Document data
including document interfaces.
 
Partner and supplier data
including contact person data.
 
Inventory transaction
can be made as an inventory withdrawal, record and transfer on specified and non-specified items.

including also technical data.

between cards and items.
